About the series

Eight books, one open door

Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.
1 Peter 3:15

For eight Sundays this summer, we are spending time with C.S. Lewis. He was a professor and a writer, and for much of his early life a skeptic, until he came to faith and gave the rest of his days to making the Christian story clear and believable.

Each week we take up one of his books, from Mere Christianity to The Chronicles of Narnia, and let it open a door back to Scripture. Lewis never wanted readers to stop at his words. He wanted them to look through his words to Christ.

Come for one Sunday or all eight. Bring your questions, bring a friend, and find us at the sanctuary doors at 8, 9:30, or 11 AM.
