01 · Faith
A Christian foundation.
Every meeting, every badge, every campout is rooted in Scripture. Girls grow in faith alongside the practical skills they're learning.
Girls, K through 12 · Weeknights at New Hope
Faith, service, life skills, and friendships built around a strong Christian foundation. Girls grow up alongside leaders who keep showing up.
American Heritage Girls is a national Christian program for girls. New Hope hosts AHG Troop CA-4620, one of two separate troops on our campus that share the CA-4620 number.
What it is
American Heritage Girls describes itself as building women of integrity through service to God, family, community, and country.
At New Hope, Troop CA-4620 meets on a weeknight at the Clovis campus. Life-skill training (sewing, first aid, cooking, finance), outdoor experiences, community service, and Scripture-anchored character teaching.
On the calendar
A standing weeknight meeting at the New Hope campus, plus whatever else the troop has on the books for the next few weeks.
Three pillars
01 · Faith
Every meeting, every badge, every campout is rooted in Scripture. Girls grow in faith alongside the practical skills they're learning.
02 · Service
Community service is a thread through the whole program. Local outreach, family support, troop service projects, the works.
03 · Fun
Cooking, sewing, first aid, outdoor adventure, money sense. Plus the kind of friendships that get built over years of showing up together.
In action
Side by side, separate troops
AHG Troop CA-4620 and Trail Life Troop CA-4620 are two separate troops. Each has its own leadership, charter, advancement system, and room. They meet the same evening so families with both boys and girls can drop everyone off in one trip.
The two troops share the CA-4620 number by NH's choice; everything else operates independently.
The brother troop
If you have boys in the household alongside the girls, Trail Life Troop CA-4620 meets the same evening on the same campus. Drop everyone off in one trip.
