Adopted in our By-Laws and amended October 2017. These are the doctrines we teach, sing, and build our life around.
The Trinity of God
One God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, co-equal in essential nature, attributes, and perfection.
The Person of Jesus Christ
Begotten in the flesh by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, without sin, true God and true Man, the only mediator between God and man.
The Work of Jesus Christ
His death paid for all sin and satisfied the righteous wrath of God. He rose bodily, was seen over forty days, ascended to Heaven as our Advocate and Intercessor, and will return to establish His Kingdom.
The Ministry of the Holy Spirit
Convicts of sin, causes spiritual birth, baptizes all believers into the Body of Christ, indwells, seals, sanctifies, guides, teaches, and fills believers.
The Creation and Fall of Man
God created the universe and created man in His own image. Man sinned through personal disobedience, so all mankind is sinful in nature and practice, unable to save itself, and faces eternal separation from God.
The Salvation of Man
Salvation is eternal, the free gift of God's grace, received by any individual through personal faith and belief in Jesus Christ, not by sacrament, merit, or good work.
The Destiny of Man
All believers will be resurrected to spend eternity in a new heaven and a new earth. All non-believers will be resurrected to judgment and everlasting separation from God.
The Church
The Church of Jesus Christ consists of all those who truly believe on the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Angels and Satan
All angels were created by God. Some, including Satan, chose to rebel and will spend eternity in hell. Satan is a real personality, actively rebelling against God.
