Cleared for takeoff

Four days of high-flying, faith-building adventure.

Monday through Thursday, June 29 to July 2. Each day's mission runs 9 AM to 12 PM. Built for kids in kindergarten through 6th grade, and the whole week is free.

Cadets, get ready for takeoff. Rain or shine, we're cleared for takeoff at New Hope.

Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. Psalm 119:105

Daily missions

A new mission every morning.

Each day has its own Bible point that anchors cadets in God's truth. Four days, four take-aways your kid will bring home with them.

Mon · June 29

Mission 01

The Lamp in the Fog

Cadets often try to navigate life using their own logic, but human wisdom is never enough to see through the "fog" of a broken world. We discover that God has given us His Word as a literal lamp for our feet so we never lose our way.

Nav-Point God's Word lights my way.

Tue · June 30

Mission 02

Peace in the Storm

Fear is a heavy gravity that pulls us down, especially when the unexpected storms of life hit. We find courage in the cockpit by realizing the Master Pilot is right beside us, holding us steady through every bit of turbulence.

Nav-Point God is always with me.

Wed · July 1

Mission 03

The Master's Flight Plan

It is tempting to take the controls and switch to "Auto-Pilot," but our limited radar often leads us toward dangerous no-fly zones. True freedom is found when we trust that God has mapped out a perfect, straight path.

Nav-Point God has a plan for me.

Thu · July 2

Mission 04

Fear of Standing Alone

The ultimate test of a pilot is the moment of surrender when they finally let go of the controls and trust the landing system. We find our true destination and life-long purpose the moment we surrender our lives into the hands of Jesus.

Nav-Point Jesus gives me a purpose.

A glimpse of last year

VBS 2025 in two minutes.

Here's a quick recap from last year's runway. Same energy, same heart, brand-new mission this summer.

Supply drop

Help us stock the supply closet.

A week of crafts, snacks, and decorations takes a mountain of supplies. We keep a running Amazon wishlist of everything we need for Skybound. Grab an item or two and it ships straight to the church.

For parents

A quick note before drop-off.

Photos and short video clips will be taken throughout the week for use in New Hope Community Church communications, including social media and our website. If you would rather your kid not be in photos or video, just let our check-in team or a VBS leader know on day one.
