A New Hope Sermon Series

Tell Me Who You Are

I am the bread of life

Series artwork: seven hand-stitched garments hanging on a clothesline, each one picturing an I Am statement of Jesus, from bread of life to the true vine

August 9 to September 20, 2026 · Sundays at 8, 9:30, and 11 AM

Begins Sunday, August 9

About the series

Seven pictures, one question

"Very truly I tell you," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!"
John 8:58, NIV

Seven times in John's Gospel, Jesus answers the oldest question we carry by telling us who He is. I am the bread of life. The light of the world. The good shepherd. Each picture is both a promise and an invitation.

For seven Sundays this summer we walk through them, one garment at a time, and let each image do its quiet work. Then, on the last Sunday, we turn the question around. Because of who He is, we can finally say who we are.
