Skybound

Whoa-oh-oh-oh-oh, yeah, whoa-oh-oh-oh-oh
Starting up the engines, heading to the sky,
packed with God’s promises, we’re ready to fly.
When I don’t know which way, or storms come around,
I open His word, now I’m skybound.
Shout out, I’m ready (?), Jesus leads the way,
no fear in this cockpit (?), we’re flying by faith.
Skybound! With God’s word as our flight plan, we know.
Skybound! His love lifts us up as we soar through the sky.
We trust, we pray, we follow, today He’s lighting the way (?).
Skybound! Skybound! Skybound!

Taking off, I want to keep climbing,
be my light, make sure I will fly (?).
It’s Your word that will charter me where I need to go.
Soaring high, just to be near You,
lift me up, so I’ll have a clear view.
Steady now, quiet all my fears, and say what I should know.
Follow You, I will fly above, confident, You’re the one I love.
Moving fast, we are skybound, it’s in You we are found.
Just be honest (?), I won’t try to hide it,
trust in You, I will let You guide me.
All my heart is for You alone, You will have control.
Arms out wide, You will welcome me,
staying calm, You will give me peace.
Overjoyed, You gave me my purpose, and now I’m on my way.
Follow You, I will fly above, confident, You’re the one I love.
Moving fast, we are skybound, it’s in You we are found.
