Ethan has a heart for helping students discover God's love and grow in their faith. Growing up with his parents, Rich and Regina, as strong examples of faith, Ethan felt called to ministry early in life.
His journey has been shaped by years in the backcountry. From 2021 to 2024 he guided backpacking trips for REI through Yosemite, Sequoia and Kings Canyon, the Grand Canyon, Zion, and Bryce Canyon. He also served in global ministries and earned a degree in Biblical and Religious Studies from Fresno Pacific University. Ethan joined the New Hope staff as Youth Pastor in 2024.
Ethan met his wife, Kim, through a wilderness discipleship program, and they were married in 2024. Together they share a love for adventure and ministry. When he is not with students, you will likely find him snowboarding, mountain biking, or spending time with family.
