The 2024 theme. Three weeks on living sent, from the Great Commission.
New Hope opened 2024 with a single word and a single charge. Unleashed is the call of Jesus at the end of Matthew, to go, to teach, and to carry the good news past our own walls and into the world.
Over three Sundays we set the year in motion, living intentionally where God has us, loving the people right next to us, and lifting our eyes to what God is doing across the globe.
January 7 to 21, 2024 · 3 Weeks
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20
The building is not the church. This message opens the Unleashed series by asking what a church is actually for, then turns to John 15:1-8, where fruit is not something you produce by trying harder but something that follows from staying attached. Taught by Pastor Mark Addis.

Your mission field is the street you already live on. This message in the Unleashed series works through Mark 12:30-31 and the hardest lines of the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5:43-48, and lands on hospitality as something you chase rather than wait for. Taught by Pastor Mark Addis.

Three point four billion people, roughly 42 percent of everyone alive, are considered unreached by the gospel. This message closes the Unleashed series by walking through the six places New Hope supports and asking where an ordinary person fits. Built on Matthew 28:19-20 and Acts 1:8. Taught by Pastor Mark Addis.
