Devoted to the life Jesus calls us to.

UnLOCK opened 2023 at New Hope, anchored in the early church described in Acts 2:42. Over two January Sundays, Pastor Mark Addis preached the first messages of the year. The first looked at the four things the first believers devoted themselves to, the apostles' teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread and prayer, and at what happens to a church when any one of them is let go.

The second turned to the people Jesus chose. Working through the twelve named in Matthew 10:2-4 and what became of each of them, Pastor Mark looked at why Acts 4:13 says Jerusalem was astonished by how ordinary they were. UnLOCK also gave its name to New Hope's whole year of teaching in 2023.
