Vacation Bible School 2010

Let's Build An Ark is this year's VBS theme. In this curriculum, children will learn the story of Noah's Ark from Noah himself as well as his family. Not only will they learn the story of Noah, but they will learn 5 biblical truths (God is just, God is good, God is our guide, God cares, and God keeps his promises) from different supporting bible stories each day.

WHO?

Any child from pre-k to 6th grade may participate. Children entering pre-kindergarden or children graduating 6th grade are welcomed! Although, kids entering the 7th grade are given the option to become a helper.

When?

Monday to Friday June 21-25, 2010

Time?

6:00 - 8:15 p.m. Every year we switch between morning and evening. Since last year was in the morning, naturally this year will be in the evening. We do this so that every parent and child may have the opportunity to participate.

Registration

The cost is $20.00 per child or $50.00 for 3 or more children. This is all week and includes a t-shirt, snacks, crafts, etc. Pre-Registration starts Sunday, June 6th, 2010 or you may register at the door, same costs. Pre-registration takes place between services on sundays or you may come in during any office hours and register with our receptionist, Teresa. Please turn in registration form with payment.

Needs

We welcome any help. We are currently looking for helpers in each class as well as supplies.

Please label VBS and drop them off in the office or at the registration table on sundays. Thank you so much for all your support.

Snacks (approx. 100 kids):

red grapes, strawberries, mini chocolate chips, apples, celery, peanut butter, cream cheese, raisins, chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies, vanilla Ice Cream, dried bananas, dried mangos, almonds, m& ms, pretzels, cheeze-its, white CUPCAKES, vanilla frosting, white chocolate chips, gumdrops, black icing.
